  We checked three UK websites. One picture was costing 11.6 seconds.

  Three real websites, three measured images, and the number of seconds each one costs on a phone. Nobody had noticed, because this is the kind of problem that never gets reported.

One post so far. We would rather publish one thing worth reading a month than four that are not — and everything here has to be something we actually measured, which rules out most of what gets written about this trade.
